BEHIND THE SCENES WITH COLIN M. RAFFERTY

Welcome

Born 1994 and raised in Memphis, TN his entire life. Colin Michael Rafferty has always had an attention to detail in things like music, sports, movies, and stories.  Loving music from as long back as he can remember, Colin listens to almost anything and will break down why songs or lyrics are so good. Conversely, he can do that with sports as well, but what he does best is make it sound fun and exciting. He is inspired by listening to the radio during his father's summer road trips. Hearing the St. Louis Cardinals announcers Mike Shannon and John Rooney he found a new love, sports and broadcasting. Colin is a graduate of SAE Institute in Audio from Nashville and is a student at the University of Memphis finishing up a Communications and Broadcasting Degree.  During his time in Memphis he learning more about calling games and how much he enjoyed it. Working for 91.7 WUMR The Jazz Lover they covered the football and basketball teams while also producing games for softball, baseball, basketball, and football.

Intern at WBKO in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Where he was a MMJ and Digital Content Producer for almost three months. Providing VO's, VOSOT's, Readers, and some PKG's while also writing web articles. Tiger Food Lab on the University of Memphis campus held cooking classes to students, faculty and anyone around the campus area that had time on Friday's. They were healthy, cheap, quick meals that sometimes you could take home seconds.
